I'm a fan of the Warwick race that CALL SIMON ran in last time out as the form has a strong look to it. The second placed horse has already come out and ran well for this column and the winner is a progressive type also. Nicky Martin's horse caught the eye as he stayed on powerfully to claim a clear third. That was over 2m 5f and I'm sure he will be better suited to this sterner test of stamina at Bangor today. He has a knee action which suggests the bottomless ground shouldn't be a problem for him and at 9/1 last night he looked a really solid each way play.
