Tizzard camp confident in Lostintranslation

Assistant trainer Joe says are confident Lostintranslation will show his class in the VI Chase on .

The eight-year-old has not won in his last three starts, with his last success coming at in November 2019.

Lostintranslation was pulled up in last year’s George VI Chase at , with Clan Des Obeaux going on to win the race.

He was also below his best at Haydock last month, when finishing third behind Bristol De Mai in the .

Joe, assistant to father Colin, told reporters: “The only real worry is if the ground goes too soft, because Lostintranslation has shown he cannot handle testing conditions.

“He certainly seems a much better horse at home at the moment.

“He did a cracking piece of work on morning, and fingers crossed the ground hasn’t been too bad at Kempton yet this season. If it can handle the bit of rain coming through the next couple of days then the forecast doesn’t look too bad leading up to next week.”
