Alcester handler Dan Skelton believes Roksana is in great condition ahead of the Porsche Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday.
Having managed to come out on top in the bet365 Hurdle at Wetherby in a field of eight back in October, the aim has always been to wait for a run at Ascot this weekend.
Skelton feels the time off has done Roksana good and now believes the eight-year-old to be in great shape before the Long Walk.
“I was delighted with her at Wetherby,” said Skelton. “She went back to her owners for a little while just to recharge her batteries really so she could come back the best she could be.
“I’m really happy with her and she looks fantastic. The lad who rides her out every day says she feels as good as she could.”
