RISK D’ARGENT showed a good attitude despite showing plenty of inexperience on debut at Sedgefield and I expect him to go one better today at Catterick. Alastair Ralph doesn’t tend to send his runners up north unless they have a good chance and I think this four year old is one of his better youngsters. He raced on the inside on Sedgefield last time and the ground had churned up a bit which would have blunted his speed a little up the straight. He also seemed to be having a good look around when he hit the front but despite this he still very nearly got up in the dying strides. That experience should stand to him and I think he will have a great chance today.
