DANTE’S VIEW has been shaping well of late but clearly found the drop back to 2 miles inadequate test last time out. George Baker’s horse had earlier been showing signs of clear ability in tough handicaps without getting his head in front. The step up in trip around Plumpton should prove almost the perfect test for this classy flat horse and I am expecting a big run today with Richard Johnson maintaining the partnership.
