It is a very busy day today with jumps action taking place on 3 cards across the country. I have two runners up at Carlisle today for the Only Fools Own Horses syndicate. White Turf has had a torrid time of it the past 18 months but finally makes his hurdle debut. He's going to need a few runs to work his way back to full fitness after such a long break. Your Band has been our flagbearer to date but again has had some time off. He had a nasty bout of colic in February and with today being his first run back, we intend to let him enjoy himself today.
To the serious stuff, the tips, I have one real fancy today and he has halved in price since I got on last night. AJERO is a brother to his stablemate Charbel and clearly possesses some of his ability from he has shown in a few starts to date. He comes well recommended out of Ireland and although being too keen on stable debut, I expect him to come forward from that and make his presence felt here. At 9/2 last night he was a free each way bet but at 5/2 now, we're going to have to back him for the win. Whitlock is a classy flat horse but this is hurdle debut and he may just lack the experience of Ajero.
