Jockey Aidan Coleman hopes he is fit to feature at Chepstow‘s October meeting.
Coleman is currently recovering from a broken arm, which he sustained at Southwell in July, but is happy with his progress and feels Chepstow could be a possibility.
He told the Racing Post: “I’m looking to come back mid-October and Chepstow races on October 9 and 10, which could be a possibility.
“I’m working very hard towards that, but if it isn’t that weekend, the week after. I’ll see how I progress in the next couple of weeks, but things are probably going better than expected from the original diagnosis.”
Coleman won the Arkle at Cheltenham in March on Put The Kettle On, while he guided Paisley Park to glory in the Stayers’ Hurdle in the 2019 edition of the Festival.
