Galileo Chrome’s connections are happy to let the dust settle before they decide where he will run next after his win in the St Leger.
The three-year-old powered home to beat Berkshire Rocco on Saturday, with jockey Tom Marquand timing his ride to perfection.
The Australia colt was one of the leading contenders for the final Classic of the British Flat season and he duly delivered at odds of 4/1.
Galileo Chrome has now won four races in a row this season but trainer Joseph O’Brien says the whole team are relaxed about his next run.
Following Galileo Chrome’s return to County Kilkenny, O’Brien told reporters: “He’s home safe and sound. We were delighted with his performance and it was a special day.
“We’ll discuss things with his owners. We have a few different options for him, and there’ll be no decision on where we go just yet.
“He’s entered in plenty of races, and we can put him in any races he’s not in.
“At this stage, we’ll just wait and see how he comes out of the race, speak with the owners and take it from there.”
