I thought an opening mark of 72 for GRAND SCHEME looked pretty lenient so I
find it interesting that connections have decided to persevere in another
novice race. Richard Hannon‘s horse has caught the eye both runs to date when
staying on late and although the bare form may not amount to much he has shown
plenty of ability.
The
sharp nature of Bath may not suit and the firm ground may also pose a question
but if handling both I think he could be the bet today.
