Ben`s Tips of The Day 04.09.20

I think OUR
LITTLE PONY
is probably one of my favourite in training at the
moment. A trustee, talented mare who always runs her race more often that not
no matter what the situation. She developed herself a reputation as a soft
ground specialist but she has proven this year that she does handle better
ground, she just demands a strong pace to run at.

            She
lines up at her favourite track, , today over 5f with a little bit of
juice in the ground which is pretty much her optimum conditions and at 7/1 at
the time of writing she is one of the most confident I’ve had in a while.
She got dropped a pound for finishing fourth in a hot fillies event last time
at , a race which she probably would have won in another 6 or 7 strides.
This kind gesture from the handicapper can only help her and the big field
should mean she has that strong pace she loves to run at. Expect her to travel
well and pounce late.

            I
was impressed with CAP FRANCAIS last
time as he finished second to a very well in friend of mine, Via Serendipity. That
horse is a big fancy of mine tomorrow and with that in mind, I can’t not tip Ed
Walker’s horse today. He pulled nicely clear of third last time and is clearly
a talented horse as his form will tell you. The stiff mile here at looks
just about ideal for him and at 6/1 I think he is a good bet here.
