I’ll be disappointed if LITTLE BECKY isn’t in the shake up in the 2.10 at Lingfield today.
It’s a warm enough fillies handicap but I do have high hopes for Ed Vaughan’s
filly and can see her being rated much higher than 87 in the near future. She
had a lovely introduction at Kempton at the back end of last year in a race
which has worked out well and reappeared at Yarmouth 36 days ago. She showed
plenty on that occasion despite probably needing the run and ran all the way to
the line suggesting this step up in trip should suit. Being by Sir Percy, she
should have no problems getting the trip and although she has some decent
horses to beat today, I think she is one who could really progress through the
ranks.
