The recent rain will put a few off today at
Uttoxeter and I’m hoping that might leave the door open for DAGUENEAU who is in fine form at
present. His progressive profile was further enhanced with an 8 length success
on his return in a novice hurdle at Stratford. He now faces 3 miles for the
first time on handicap debut off a mark of 128 which could prove to turn out to
be lenient in a few months time. A lot of his rivals won’t like the rain
softened ground and even though he is 4/1fav at the moment I do think he has an
outstanding chance.
Uttoxeter 3.10 – Dagueneau – 2pt win
