Owner Nick Bradley has revealed Fev Rover is likely to run at either Newmarket or Deauville next after her recent Sandown success.
After recording back-to-back runners-up finishes, Fev Rover managed to go one better when claiming the spoils at Sandown Park on Tuesday in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Star Stakes over 7f.
The two-year-old filly produced a brilliant effort to finish ahead of second-placed Dubai Fountain, from Mark Johnston’s stable, and the Roger Varian-trained Setarhe in third.
Following on from that display, connections are now deliberating where to send her next and, according to Bradley, a trip to either Newmarket or Deauville is on the cards next month.
“We were delighted with her performance. I think she beat two smart fillies into second and third – Mark Johnston’s filly (Dubai Fountain) that finished second was well backed and Setarhe is a proper filly,” he told Sporting Life.
“Fev Rover could run in the Sweet Solera at Newmarket and there is also the Prix du Calvados at Deauville. The Sweet Solera is on August 8 and the Prix du Calvados is on August 22, so she could do the two, but I think it’s more likely she’ll run in one or the other.”
