BEN`S TIPS of the Day 21.7.20

A hasn't been celebrated in this column
too much recently but thankfully Nataleena did the business for us yesterday.
Hopefully we can keep the momentum going today as I have a few each way fancies
throughout the day.

                First
up is INNOCENT TOUCH who looks a
really solid each way bet at . Henry Daly's charge has been dropped to
a lenient mark after an unsuccessful spell over fences and he has already
proven just how dangerous he is around Stratford. He won off this mark in 2018
around here and has also beat future Grade 2 winner, Midnight Shadow, at
off a 4lb higher mark. Fences didn't suit this flat bred horse but we
already know hurdles do and with 2 course wins from 3 course runs he rates a
strong each way bet here.

                It's an
interesting evening card at tonight and I fancy a couple at a decent
price. CRANEUR is a horse who was
fairly consistent last year without winning and certainly deserves to get his
head in front. His reappearance would have been needed and I think he wil step
forward from that quite considerably, especially with Tom Marquand in the
saddle. Some of his rivals have to prove they are as effective on the turf as
they are on the all weather and at the prices, I'd rather be with my lad. He has
some tidy course form to his name and certainly looks worth a small bit of each
way support.

                The
8.45 looks to be between the three year olds but which three year old is the
one to be on? I think the market will be drawn to the sexier profiles such as
Kaffee and Notforalongtime but I'd rather take a chance on SURREY PRIDE for Joseph Tuite. He made a pleasing debut here last
year before shedding his maiden tag at in what turned out to be a tidy
little contest. He reappearaed at and ran well enough before tiring to
suggest he can do some damage off this mark. This race should suit and the
better ground may help too so at the prices he looks the play here.

Stratford 3.00 – Innocent Touch – 1pt e/w

Sandown 5.35 – Craneur – 0.5pts e/w

Sandown 8.45 – Surrey Pride – 0.5pts e/w
