Trainer Charlie Hills is hugely optimistic about Battaash’s chances of enjoying a successful run in Tuesday‘s King’s Stand Stakes.
The six-year-old earned a huge amount of admirers in 2019 after winning three of his five outings and he is expected to continue that trend in 2020.
Battaash will be seen for the first time this year at Royal Ascot on Tuesday as he attempts to go one better than his second place finish in the King‘s Stand Stakes in 2019.
Hills has every confidence that Battaash can bring home the goods and feels he may even thrive with fewer people in attendance.
“We’ve been delighted with him through the spring and he’s not had any setbacks. He’s looked as good as ever in his work,” said Hills.
“It’s going to be a different Royal Ascot but it might suit Battaash if anything with less people, it should be a good experience for him.”
