The updated racing calendar from the BHA has revealed that Glorious Goodwood is set to take place on the same date, July 28 to August 1.
The British Horseracing Authority has published its full fixture list for the summer months, with officials eyeing a return to behind-closed-doors action from the start of June, following the enforced break.
The Qatar Goodwood Festival, more commonly known as Glorious Goodwood, will hold their five-day meeting on the original dates with the likes of the Goodwood Cup, Sussex Stakes, King George Qatar Stakes and Stewards’ Cup to look forward to.
It’s also planned for the famous four-day York Ebor Meeting to go ahead as planned on August 19-22, with the Knavesmire due to host showcase races such as the Juddmonte International, Darley Yorkshire Oaks, Coolmore Nunthorpe and the Ebor itself.
Meanwhile, the first jumps since the suspension of racing is scheduled for July 1 and is due to take place at Southwell, with a full June programme expected to be announced by the BHA on Monday, May 25.
Meetings on Scottish and Welsh tracks have also been pencilled into the scheduled, although they have not yet been assigned to racecourses as discussions continue with the devolved governments.
