Moore reveals Kentucky goal

Moore, a three-time champion jockey, has enjoyed an incredible career and he has won a raft of top-level races across the world, lifting each of the British Classics at least twice.

The Englishman has also tasted success in the Japan Cup (2013) and the (2014), while he is a two-time of the Prix de l', having won the French in 2010 and 2016.

However, despite all this success, the 36-year-old has failed to win the Kentucky Derby and his last two trips to Churchill Downs have ended in disappointment, with a seventh-place finish in 2013 followed by a dead last in 2018.

Moore, who is currently the first choice jockey for Aidan O'Brien's Ballydoyle operation, admits that winning ‘The Run for the Roses' is a huge goal of his and it would be great to add this to his CV.

He told 's ‘Lockdown Lowdown' : “The Kentucky Derby is always going to be high up there. There's always new races now that are worth a lot of money. But I would stay the Kentucky Derby is number one for sure.”
