Beauty Generation to join Hayes’ stable

Beauty Generation is set to race on next season, amid reports he will be joining -winning trainer David Hayes.

Beauty Generation has been with 's most successful race-winning trainer John Moore since 2016 and the duo have enjoyed huge success together, winning the Champions Mile twice (2018 and 2019) and the Hong Kong Stewards' Cup in 2019.

The seven-year-old suffered a narrow defeat in the FWD Champions Mile at Sha Tin last month, losing out to Southern Legend, and it was unsure what the future held for the Patrick Kwok Ho Chuen-owned charge.

Moore, who will retire this season due to the Hong Kong Jockey Club's rules which state no trainer over 70 is permitted to hold a licence, had revealed he would like to take the record-breaking two-time Hong Kong Horse of the Year over to .

However, Beauty Stable posted a tweet confirming Beauty Generation's departure from Moore and the impending move to Hayes' yard, who will rejoin the trainers' roster at Sha Tin for the start of the 2020/21 season.

The 57-year-old has trained a total of 93 Group One winners – 76 in Australia, 17 in Hong Kong and one in Japan – and he is “looking to get my seat back on the second floor of the trainers' stand!”
