Coneygree emerges unscathed from comeback run

“He's fine, understandably a bit stiff, but essentially he's ok,” Bradstock told UK's Luck On Sunday.


Bradstock also confirmed he had never considered retiring Coneygree, despite his injury problems and he feels Saturday's race proved some of the gelding's doubters wrong.


He went on: “I think his run yesterday put a few people back in their box. I never considered retirement because mentally he is still in a very good place.”
