Ante-post favourite Happily leads an 18-strong field of fillies confirmed for the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on Sunday.
Aidan O’Brien‘s charge, who has won four of her last seven starts, including impressive Group One victories in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh and the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Chantilly, heads the field for Sunday’s big race.
O’Brien also has Bye Bye Baby, I Can Fly, Sarrocchi and Sizzling left in the race but has decided against running September.
Mick Channon’s Fred Darling winner Dan’s Dream is also among the contenders in the list of 18 runners, while Charlie Appleby takes Wild Illusion and Soliloquy, the latter being supplemented for the contest at £30,000.
Richard Hannon‘s Anna Nerium and the Karl Burke-trained Laurens are also among a talented field for the 1000 Guineas.
