Henderson excited for Punchestown test

Trainer has confirmed will be fit to run in the BETDAQ on April 28.

The 11-year-old has only raced twice this season, winning at in the Unibet International Hurdle.

He was back in action at last week, finishing fourth in the Aintree Hurdle but the ground was softer than wanted.

Despite the disappointing run, My Tent Or Yours came through unscathed and Henderson is ready for the Punchestown .

He told reporters: “I think My Tent Or Yours is a definite for Punchestown.

“I thought that he ran really well at Aintree on and he didn’t go to Cheltenham, so we’ll have another go at the Champion Hurdle. We might also bring Charli Parcs over for the same race.

“We’ve got one or two others on the shortlist for Punchestown and I think the ground could be the best of any of the Festivals. It’s a terrific week and we’ve had some wonderful days there over the years.”
