Trainer Martyn Meade says that he will send Eminent to Chester next month ahead of a tilt at the Prince of Wales’s Stakes.
The four-year-old has not been seen since finishing third in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown in September.
Eminent, who is the son of Frankel, is being tipped to enjoy an illustrious career, although he still has a lot to prove after showing some early potential.
Meade is hoping his charge can make a statement in the Prince of Wales?s Stakes at Royal Ascot but he wants Eminent to get a run out in Chester in the meantime.
“He’s going along well,” Meade said.
“The Prince of Wales’s is his main target, but I want to run him before then.
“I think we’ll miss the Ganay and I’m tending to think he might run him in the Huxley Stakes at Chester – that might be a good prep race.”
