Tom George believes Saturday’s Cleeve Hurdle can provide The Worlds End with a chance to get back on track.
A Grade One win late on last season at Aintree saw the seven-year-old talked up for big things this time around but his floundered on his return at Haydock, before showing signs of improvement last month at Ascot.
Saturday sees him head to Cheltenham for the Cleeve and George is confident he will be able to transfer his form from the gallops on to the Prestbury Park turf.

“The Worlds End is in good form. We are aiming towards the Cleeve Hurdle, weather permitting,” he said. “It was a good run at Ascot. The race before that at Haydock was a non-event for him and I think you can put a line through that.
“Ascot was almost like his first race of the season and he has come on a lot since then. He has been working well and it looks like he is starting to come to himself.
“He needs to improve a bit on what he has done, but he is a young horse and one of a few in the staying division that could improve some more.”
