Willie Mullins has revealed Max Dynamite will make his long-awaited comeback at next week’s Galway Hurdle.
A string of injury issues have seen the seven-year-old’s progress heavily hindered and he is still to appear this season, having been limited to only two outings last term.
Big things were expected from him following a second place in the 2015 Melbourne Cup, but it has simply not happened, much to the frustration of all at Closutton.
However, Mullins says he is now satisfied with his charge’s health situation and is confident he will be ready to go at Ballybrit.
Mullins told the Irish Times: “He goes for the Galway Hurdle and I’m happy with him again. He’s had his troubles such as pulled muscles and being lame, but he’s fine again now and working well.”
