Enable will run in Saturday’s King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot as she bids to continue her impressive run of form.
The John Gosden-trained three-year-old has secured three victories already this season, including the Oaks at Epsom and most recently in the Irish Oaks at the Curragh.
The Bay Filly will now take on her elders for the first time during this weekend’s race, with Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for Enable’s owner Prince Khalid Abdullah, confirming the horse is in good shape.
“John is happy with her and she’s going to head to Ascot,” Grimthorpe told Press Association Sport.
Enable will face a stiff test of her credentials during Saturday’s race, as defending champion Highland Reel is highly fancied to defend his title for Aidan O’Brien, while the Irish trainer also has Hardwicke Stakes winner Idaho entered in the race.
