Richardson coy on Persuasive plans

Managing director for owners Cheveley Park Stud Chris Richardson has revealed no plans are set in stone for Persuasive going forward.

‘s filly has not been seen since finishing as runner up in the Matron Stakes at last September and that was after winning the Sandringham Handicap at Royal .

have been keeping Persuasive’s powder dry but Richardson has revealed they are considering another potential return to Leopardstown if the ground starts to suit the talented runner.

He told Sky Sports: “Persuasive is fine and we’ve just been taking our time and waiting on the ground for her.

“We haven’t really made any plans. I suppose the Matron would be the race to aim for again, but she’d need a run somewhere beforehand.”
