Owen Burrows admits Talaayeb's run in next week's Lord Weinstock Memorial EBF Stallions Stakes will depend on the weather.
Having won her maiden and finished fourth in the 1000 Guineas, the three-year-old is being tipped to step up to 10 furlongs at Newbury.
Burrows says she has looked sharp at home in recent weeks and has looked especially good over the firmer ground.
The Lambourn-handler is now hoping for more sunshine over the next few days, admitting his final decision on the daughter of Dansili's entry could depend on the going in West Berkshire.
“Touch wood, she goes there,” Burrows said. “It is supposed to be wet on Thursday and the long range forecast says that is it then, so fingers crossed it will dry out and we will get some nice fast ground.
“She appreciated that bit of summer for about a week and enjoyed that bit of sun on her back. I am very pleased with her and she is in good form.
“Sheikh Hamdan was keen for her to get a win in a black type race and we need to try her over 10 furlongs. Newbury is a nice track to do that on.”
