Yanworth keeping options open

The six-year-old impressed on his last outing as he topped the field to claim victory at , and were considering stepping him up to three miles for the Long Walk Hurdle at the same venue.

However, King admitted that they are likely to try and keep him away from ‘s , who runs in the same colours, after his dominant run over three miles at last week.

King says they are currently keeping their options open as he looks to ensure they can get the best out of Yanworth.

“He is going to have an entry in the International at Cheltenham, but I suppose (who is also owned by McManus) will have one as well, and he will possibly have one in the Christmas Hurdle.? King said.

“I think we are going to try to keep the two apart (Yanworth and Unowhatimeanharry), but I will have to speak to the boys.

“All options are open.”
