Yanworth could take on the International Hurdle at Cheltenham or the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton, according to Alan King.
The six-year-old impressed on his last outing as he topped the field to claim victory at Ascot, and connections were considering stepping him up to three miles for the Long Walk Hurdle at the same venue.
However, King admitted that they are likely to try and keep him away from Harry Fry‘s Unowhatimeanharry, who runs in the same JP McManus colours, after his dominant run over three miles at Newbury last week.
King says they are currently keeping their options open as he looks to ensure they can get the best out of Yanworth.
“He is going to have an entry in the International at Cheltenham, but I suppose My Tent Or Yours (who is also owned by McManus) will have one as well, and he will possibly have one in the Christmas Hurdle.? King said.
“I think we are going to try to keep the two apart (Yanworth and Unowhatimeanharry), but I will have to speak to the boys.
“All options are open.”
