Nigel Twiston-Davies has admitted he is unsure what to do with Ballyandy after a poor run over hurdles.
The five-year-old has been over the hurdles on three occasions this season but he is yet to pick up a win at Perth, Cheltenham and Sandown.
Ballyandy was beaten by the winner of the 2015 Champion Bumper, Moon Racer, in the first two of those trips over hurdles.
Twiston-Davies admitted that he is at a loss as to what to do with his charge as he looks to pick up that elusive victory.
“I don’t know what to do with him, I really don’t, it’s all a bit frustrating,” said Twiston-Davies.
“What do we make of Sandown? He looked there to me like he’d have no trouble with three miles.
“Then Sam (Twiston-Davies) came in and said we should be dropping him back to two. I don’t know.
“Some people are saying we’re having a good year but Ballyandy hasn’t won, Ballyoptic (Grade One winner) has only won once and The New One hasn’t even run yet.”
