Trainer Mouse Morris is excited by the Grand National prospects of Rogue Angel and Thunder And Roses.
The Irishman won the world’s greatest steeplechase with Rule The World earlier this year but is refusing to rest on his laurels and is eyeing more success on Merseyside.
Rogue Angel is set to gain some valuable Aintree experience when he runs in the Betfred Becher Handicap Chase on Saturday while 2015 Irish Grand National winner Thunder And Roses, is also being aimed at the National.
“Rogue Angel is in really good form and he’ll run in Liverpool and we’ll see what happens after that,” said Morris. “The plan is to have one or two more runs before the Grand National to keep him fresh.
“Thunder And Roses is also well, and the plan is to run him at Fairyhouse (Porterstown Handicap) this weekend.”
