Trainer Warren Greatrex says 2015 World Hurdle winner Cole Harden is set for his debut over fences at Wetherby on December 3.
Greatrex has been monitoring his stable star given his problems with a knee injury in the past few months but the trainer is confident he is now over the problem and is looking forward to the run-out in Yorkshire a week on Saturday.
Greatrex said on his personal website: “On December 3 it is the eagerly anticipated first run over fences for Cole Harden. He is in terrific form at the moment and his schooling has been fantastic.
“The knee seems to be holding up well which is great news. He is looking lighter than he has done in the last two seasons at this stage which can only be beneficial. He is showing real enthusiasm in his work and fingers crossed he can stay in good shape for the next ten days.”
