Two Taffs is a big threat in Saturday’s Betfair Exchange ‘Fixed Brush’ Handicap Hurdle at Haydock, according to trainer Dan Skelton.
The Alcester trainer has been preparing Two Taffs for this race and, following an impressive seasonal reappearance when he won at Carlisle three weeks ago, it’s all systems go for Haydock this weekend.
Skelton said: “We’ve had this race in mind for him since the back-end of last year. We thought it would be perfect.
“He’ll love the hurdles and he goes on soft ground. He had a nice warm up in a novice hurdle, so he goes there with a really nice chance, hopefully.”
Two Taffs faces a tough field in the race and the likes of Caid Du Berlais, Unowhatimeanharry, Yala Enki and Westren Warrior are all expected to challenge.
