The Grey Gatsby could return to Chantilly next month for a crack at the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
Kevin Ryan‘s charge has already secured glory in some high-profile races with wins in the 2014 French Derby and the Irish Champion Stakes three months later.
Having enjoyed that success at Chantilly before, The Grey Gatsby could be set for a return, while also being entered for Friday‘s Mukhadram Godolphin Stakes at Newmarket.
He was quoted by Sky Sports, saying: “We’ve put him in the Arc, so we’ll see.
“I have entered for a Listed race at Newmarket next Friday, but whether that would come too close to the Arc, I’m not sure. I need to discuss it with his owner.
“I think we’d be keen to go to the Arc if he got his ground. It’s obviously at Chantilly this year, which is where he won the French Derby.”
