Trainer Ger Lyons has confirmed that connections plan to send Endless Drama to Australia after a disappointing outing last time out.
After finishing second to Gleneagles in the Irish 2,000 Guineas last season, Endless Drama was expected to kick on this year.
The four-year-old showed promise when he finished third in the Lockinge at Newbury back in May but he then disappointed Lyons at the Curragh last weekend.
He could only finish fifth of seven runners in the Royal Whip and Lyons admits that he will now continue his career in Australia.
“He seems OK but I was very disappointed with that,” Lyons told At The Races.
“It probably drew a line through his Group One future on this side of the world. I think the jury is out on what they are going to do with him next, but I think his career in Ireland is finished, as far as we’re aware.
“I think he’s going to head to Australia – that’s the plan, as I’m told.”
