Ivory planning step up

Trainer has confirmed that he is keen to see Librisa Breeze step up in class after impressing at .

The four-year-old was able to make amends for a narrow defeat previously as he burst away from the rest of the field in the Gigaset International Stakes on Saturday.

Breeze looked more than capable on his first trip over seven furlongs and was able to power clear to win by a length and a half.

Ivory believes there is still a lot more to come from his charge and is now set to target the meeting at in September.

“I was very concerned about the ground and we had to take a chance,” Ivory said.

“Robert waited and waited and cruised through. He won very convincingly.

“I’ve got him in a Group race coming up in September (Park Stakes, Doncaster), but I’ll sit tight and have a chat with his owners.

“He loves it here. He’s such an honest and genuine horse.”
