Connections feel Nemoralia is progressing nicely but are concerned by the prospect of rain before Royal Ascot.
The three-year-old scored on her seasonal debut at York, winning the one-mile Listed Longines Irish Champions Weekend Fillies’ Stakes by six lengths on May 13.
The filly’s next outfit will be at the Berkshire venue, with trainer Jeremy Noseda aiming her for the Coronation Stakes.
However, with unsettled weather on the way, it is still in the lap of the gods as to whether the daughter of More Than Ready gets to race in the Group One showpiece despite her superb form.
“The faster the ground, the better she is,” Noseda said. “She handles juice in the ground, but my own feeling is if it goes overly soft, we would maybe wait for another day. The only query I have in my mind is the unsettled forecast.
“I’m delighted with how she’s come out of the race (at York). I think she’s moved forward and improved again.
“She did her main piece of work on Tuesday morning, and Frankie Dettori came in to ride her.
“That has sharpened her up and, physically, she has done well since the race. I’m happy that we’re exactly where we want to be.”
