Seafront looks set to go back to Ireland for a shot at the Balanchine Stakes, according to trainer James Tate.
Seafront has recently impressed with a trio of top-three finishes at Beverley, Newmarket and Naas over the last month.
The Balanchine Stakes has emerged as a possible next entry for the two-year-old, while Tate admitted he is also considering the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Tate is likely to weigh up the conditions ahead of making a final decision but he is pleased to see his charge improving at a steady rate.
“Seafront ran really well at Naas. She is a lovely filly and is improving with every race,” said Tate.
“The best thing about her is her temperament. She has got the best racing temperament in a horse that I’ve ever had.
“The decision now will be whether we have a crack at the Albany, where she would have to find a few pounds with the winner at Naas (Cuff), or go for a Group Three at the Curragh the weekend after Ascot.
“It would probably be a choice between the two races.
“She probably doesn’t like the ground too fast. She would prefer it good or slightly easier so we will be a little bit swayed by the conditions.”
