Connections say Tryster will not be seen until Royal Ascot and is likely to be ridden more aggressively in future.
The five-year-old finished third in the Group One Dubai Turf at Meydan on Saturday, having claimed the Jebel Hatta on his penultimate start.
The son of Shamardal will now head to Europe for the summer's big races but will be given a break before re-emerging at the Berkshire venue.
Trainer Charlie Appleby admits that Tryster's options are open but is adamant that he has seen enough action and will now be rested until the showpiece meeting.
“We will look at different European options and further afield there may be the Arlington Million, while we will also look at Royal Ascot,” he said. “The first thing he is going to have is a break and you won't see him out before Royal Ascot.
“We will have a look at his options there which would be the Prince of Wales's Stakes and the Queen Anne. We will look at entering him in both as he is entitled to be in each of them.”
And the Godolphin handler, while pleased with his display, might instruct his jockey to keep him handier during races.
“William (Buick) said he did everything right, like he did in the Jebel Hatta in that he travelled well and really accelerated, but so did those Group One horses in front of him,” he added. “Looking ahead to the future, we may just ride him slightly more forward.”
