Rockerfeller set for Fontwell tilt

It looks set to be a cracking race at the weekend with a decent field boosted by an increase in prize money to £80,000.

winners Cheltenian and Medinas will both make an appearance, alongside ‘ Grade One-winning juvenile Adrien Du Pont and Alan ‘s Grumeti but trainer Neil King is more than happy to let Lil Rockerfeller go after his work on the gallops.

“It looks the right race for him,” he said. “Two and a half miles is his trip and with the boost to the prize money this year, we’ve had our eye on it for a while.

“He worked very well this morning and I’d dare say he’ll be running.”

The son of Hard Spun was a decent third last time out at in January and was last seen in the winner’s circle at in December last year.
