Top owner honour for Oppenheimer

Racehorse Owners Association (ROA) members have crowned Anthony Oppenheimer racehorse ‘Owner of the Year’ for 2015.

Oppenheimer, who is the owner and breeder of Golden Horn, picked up the award with his daughter Emily at the 34th annual awards in London on evening.

He was recognised for his colt’s impressive wins in four Group One races including the Investec and Europe’s richest race, the Qatar Prix de .

Golden Horn also collected the award for ‘Outstanding Middle Distance Horse’ to cap a good night for Oppenheimer.

The Max Partnership-owned Cheltenham -winning novice chaser won the ‘Outstanding Chaser’ and ‘Novice Chaser’ awards, while Susannah picked up the ‘Outstanding Hurdler’ prize with and the ‘Outstanding Novice Hurdler’ with .
