Trainer Kevin Prendergast has confirmed that Katie T has been ruled out for the season after falling in the yard at his stables.
The six-year-old may not race again if connections are not convinced she has made a 100 per cent recovery.
She was last in action in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Champion Hurdle at Punchestown back in May when she was fourth to Annie Power.
Confirming the injury, Prendergast said: “She had a bad fall and was lame for quite some time. She won’t be active for at least six months.
“You won’t see her this season anyway. She’ll probably go to stud if she doesn’t come right.
“At the moment she’s nearly right, but it will take another three of four months before we’ll be able to make any decision.”
