Malabar could take her pursuit of Grade One success stateside following her triumph at Glorious Goodwood last month.
The Mick Channon-trained filly was victorious in the Group 3 Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes last time out and that success followed some impressive performances in the English and Irish Guineas and the French Oaks.
A trip to the US now beckons for the daughter of Raven’s Pass and her trainer’s assistant Michael Channon jnr confirmed that she is full of confidence following her recent successes.
He said: “She’s come out of it great. I think it’s certainly shook her up and given her plenty of confidence. We’re looking at the States. There are plenty of races out there round those tight bends on turf. Hopefully she can be competitive at the top level there.”
The assistant went on to reveal that they have complete faith in the filly and they are convinced that she has all the attributes to be successful in America.
He continued: “She’s quite agile and she’ll nip round those bends. She’s obviously got a touch of class because she beat the boys last week.”
