Quest For More could be set to contest the Qatar Goodwood Cup after landing the Northumberland Plate.
The Roger Charlton-trained five-year-old has an entry in next month’s Goodwood Cup, with the Betfred Ebor also a possibility.
Charlton told the Racing Post: “We’ll have to see who is around in Listed and Group races and there is the Ebor – those are the races to think about.”
He added: “George [Baker, jockey] said he felt Quest For More would have gone again if anything had got to him and he showed he stays really well. He was very consistent last year but I didn’t think he was going to be well handicapped. This year he has produced 20lb improvement.
“He’s done well physically from three to four and doesn’t need any training – it’s just a question of keeping him happy.”
