Acapulco gave Ryan Moore his fourth winner of Royal Ascot after the American raider blitzed the field in the Queen Mary Stakes.
Wesley Ward’s runner was sent off a well-backed 5/2 favourite for the Group 2 contest over five furlongs and she sprinted clear from a furlong out to beat Easton Angel with the field well strung out.
The runners split into two groups from the start, with the previously unbeaten Rah Rah taking the field along on the stands’ side, with Moore in close attendance on Acapulco.
On the far side, New Road Side led through the early stages, with Easton Angel travelling well before coming through horses to throw down a challenge.

But, by that stage, Acapulco had already quickened away impressively on the stands’ side after travelling powerfully in the hands of Moore as Rah Rah was easily brushed aside.
Acapulco, who had been third on her racecourse debut last month, was not hard pressed to win by a length-and-a-half from Easton Angel, with Besharah two-and-a-half lengths back in third.
Kurland ran on well for fourth after being unable to live with the kick of Acapulco and the remainder of the field were well beaten.
Moore’s victory on Acapulco followed up his opening day treble when he won the final three races aboard Gleneagles, Clondaw Warrior and Washington DC.
