Limato looks set to feature at Chantilly to defend his Prix de la Foret on October 1.
The Henry Candy-trained five-year-old followed up his July Cup success in summer 2016 with a second Group One win in the seven-furlong race almost 12 months ago.
Candy has been impressed with Limato’s performances in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot, the July Cup and the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood so far this year, despite him failing to secure a win.

And while he is entered into the Challenge Stakes at Newmarket on October 13 and the Qipco British Champions Sprint at Ascot the following week, it appears Chantilly is the priority.
“He’s in great form and I think it’s the Foret or nothing,” said Candy. “He’ll be in at Ascot, but it’s going to be really soft this year, I’d have thought.
“He’ll go to the Foret in search of quicker ground.”
