Sir Michael Stoute has confirmed that Expert Eye is being prepared for the Darley Dewhurst Stakes next month.
A dirty scope put paid to the plans for the Acclamation colt to feature in last weekend’s National Stakes at the Curragh, so Stoute has had to re-evaluate his plans looking ahead.
And, after a bit of rethink, the recent Vintage Stakes winner at Goodwood is being lined up to race at Newmarket on October 14.
Stoute said: “That’s what we are planning. He worked yesterday morning and everything was fine.”
