Sam Drinkwater could have a good day at Plumpton today as he has two good chances. First up is HOWLING MILAN who is now looking well handicapped on his best form. A chasing career never really materialised and his recent runs over hurdles haven’t been all bad news. Last time out at Bangor I think he bumped into two very well hanidcapped rivals and a third placed finish might not be all that bad. There shouldn’t be anything with that much in hand today and if he can bounce back to the form which saw him saunter to the front in a Newbury handicap hurdle before falling with the race at his mercy then he must go well here at 12/1.
Drinkwater then has a favourite’s chance in the last with SAWPIT SIENNA. Her run at Wincanton looks just about the best form on offer here and she is obviously still progressing. A 2lb rise looks a fair move from the handicapper and something will have to go some to finish in front of her today.
