An opening mark of 120 looks well within the capabilities of CONFIRMATION BIAS and I expect him to go close at Taunton today. Paul Nicholls‘ charge has some solid bumper form in the book but made an inauspicious hurdle debut at Ayr when the soft ground wouldn’t have suited this son of Presenting. He put in a much better performance last time out over 2 miles here when just getting touched off by Runswick Bay. I think he is a decent horse and his form backs it up so it certainly wasn’t a bad run but this step up in trip will bring about plenty of improvement. Still available at 4/1, I think he is a very good bet today.
