Ben`s Tips of The Day 18.11.20

Loyal readers of this column would have benefited from ON TO VICTORY‘s November handicap win 11 days ago as he sauntered in at 10/1. A winter spent hurdling probably awaits but he lines up at Kempton this evening first and looks to have a good chance of supplementing his Doncaster win with another victory. The step up to 2 miles shouldn’t be a problem for this strong stayer and I can’t envisage the slow all weather pace posing a problem as he has shown plenty of pace in his flat runs to date. Currently 6/4 he looks a really solid bet in what looks an average race.

            As it is such an average race, I’m going to put one up at a price who may just have been overlooked. CLEONTE is a classy stayer on good ground but makes his all weather debut tonight and if allowed, he could set the fractions to suit. Currently 16/1 he looks overpriced and if ready to roll he could easily finish in the places.
