CADDYHILL made a more than satisfactory debut under rules when only just touched off by a hot favourite at Hereford. Alastair Ralph’s latest recruit travelled strongly throughout the race and showed an aptitude for hurdling, making his rival pull out all of the stops. He looks to be in a bit deeper again today but I suspect similar front running tactics will be employed and around a tight track like Taunton, he may just pinch it.
